I’ve never used this camera before and I’m getting used to it. These pictures are unedited, so some of them are overexposed and poorly framed. The quality is absolutely spectacular, though, so I’m looking forward to seeing what I can do with this thing.

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted pictures. I guess I’ve been pretty busy and not very inspired. But an old pursuit resurfaces with new gear, trips, training, and alongside a new one (KJ5PRE IYKYK). I’m looking forward to posting what I’ve got in the reservoir now. Expect regular posting. 73

All human beings by nature stretch themselves out toward knowing. A sign of this is our love of the senses; for even apart from their use, they are loved on their own account, and above all the rest, the one through the eyes…the cause is that, among the senses, this one most of all makes us discover things, and makes evident many differences.

The telos of the written word is not primarily in it’s content. That’s absurd. It’s end is in it’s underlying message: that the world can be understood, logical, coherent.
The value of the printed word is not solely in it’s content. It has a message in it’s own right.
