Immunity

I decided not to get the vaccine. I thought I would wait. Not for a specific reason – simply caution – circumspection. But then, while administering immunizations to literally hundreds of people, the three people in ABQ I admire the most happened to come to my table for the shot.

If these people – whose intellects, dispositions, and sagacity I most revere – were getting the shot, I thought I ought to take heed. I acquiesced, and spontaneously secured the shot.
